There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I was reclaiming a fair amount of heavy timber from a construction project (we're building a BARTOP out of that, but that's another story!), had a lot of nails in it, in odd places.
The simple addition of this vintage-style nail puller and a hand-held (wand-type) metal detector made easy work of that, and helped me avoid any potentially dangerous mishaps at the saw table and during planing.
This tool rates right up there with my 42" crowbar as "indispensable": Would definitely recommend for tear-outs, rehabs, and wood reclamation work.
Overall, I would try a claw hammer first. If that fails, then this tool may succeed.
