Product Description

Product Description

Students learn valuable money skills as they try to be the first to cross the finish line. Includes game board with spinner, 100 plastic coins, play bills, markers, and dice. 2-4 players.

Amazon.com

What a fun way to learn about combining coins! The object of this colorful and compact board game is to earn money while winding along a cartoon path. Money is earned by landing on a square labeled with a practical chore, such as setting the table (31 cents), or an entrepreneurial endeavor, such as a lemonade stand (15 cents). In order to collect money, the spinner is used to determine which coins can or cannot be taken from the bank. If the spinner lands on "no nickels" then you collect your change with any coins except for nickels. There's an additional incentive to use critical thinking and coin combining skills. Extra money can be earned if you land on a "Bank Exchange" space and exchange your coins (for example, two nickels for a dime). As you may have suspected, the player with the most money at the end wins. --Lauren Bernard

Easy to learn, play and educational!
    5 Stars
Easy to learn, play and educational!
Fun and educational! This game was easy to learn and my twins actually enjoyed it. The last school year has been different due to COVID so their father and I purchased a few educational games to help them along. This one was easy to learn and I’m sure will be played a few times before school starts. It wont stay in my regular game rotation but I’m planning on putting it away with the other games my kids have outgrown for use when whenever we have younger kids around again. The quality is good and I’m sure it’ll hold up to quite a bit or play. It would be cool if the coins were made from a heavier material (like metal Monopoly game pieces) but I’m sure the game wouldn’t have been such a good deal. My only other advice would be to laminate the dollar bills if you’ll play this game since the paper is a little thin. But overall the game is enjoyable and will serve a purpose so win win!
