Remember when becoming a great hitter used to mean chasing balls, searching for an open ball field to hit live pitches, or spending dollar after dollar at the commercial batting cage? Well, those days are gone!
Introducing PowerAlley Home Batting Cage from Heater Sports, the most affordable and revolutionary batting cage ever developed for improving your hitting at home.
Most hitters spend 68% of their hitting time searching for a place to hit and chasing the balls in the outfield once they do. And that’s not all, studies also show that most hitters rarely hit more than 50 pitches in any given hitting session.

Note: The system I received was slightly different than the one shown in the pictures. The net has to be draped over the poles not hung from underneath with eyelets as shown in the pictures. Also, there are 7 eyelets in the poles for guide lines for the net but the instructions only show 4, likewise, only enough lines was provided for 4. Not sure what the other 3 were supposed to be for. I did use my own tie line to run another guide line through the top eyelets to prevent the net from possible sagging. I will let it sit for a few days to let it stretch a bit and them make some further adjustments. I anticipate adding an additional stake to the top center as added support.

The net is not commercial batting cage caliber. It holds up well, but already has 2 areas of tear that lets a baseball through when hit into that area. However, it seems mostly adequate enough for home use. A suggestion would be to clip up a section of the bottom to leave exiting room when not in use. An unfortunate bird got into then got tangled up trying to find a way out on one occasion. Also bigger kids like mine need to center themselves due to the dome tent like shape only allows the center to 8ft in height and the bat would strike the net in follow through if not centered.

When it was done, it was VERY small to use as a batting cage. My son used it once and we decided to send it back.
The description said it was quick and easy to assemble and disassemble, which is what I was looking for. This is a one-time setup. There is no way I’d do it again. I filed a dispute with Amazon after the company refused a return. Took a long time, but I finally got a refund.
First of all, the instructions were terrible, it didnt explain how to put it together properly.
Next, the instructions said that there were rings that you can slide the strings in but it didnt come in the package
Finally, when we put the net on it did not align correctly with the fiberglass bars and it took a very long (and frusturating) time to get it aligned.
At the end of the day it was pretty good as a batting cage yet im not sure if it is worth tha hassle.
Tall enough for me but not good for my swings I’m 6’2
But for my kid whose 6
It’s perfect and that’s what it’s for
