I'm very happy with this item. In fact, I just ordered a backup in the event the manufacturer ever discontinues it. If there was anything I could change, I'd make the body area directly under the fin a bit more flat. I'm only using 2 pucks in mine, though. The added weight of additional pucks may cause the fin to sit a bit lower in the water, lessening the rounded look.
I can't believe I wrote this lengthly a review on a pool chlorinator, but IMO, it's the coolest one I've come across.

My only issue with this one is it doesn't float upright if there isn't a tablet in the canister. I guess it's really not a bad thing if you want a warning for when the tablets have dissolved, but it's a shark fin. I'm going to leave it in the pool year-round for fun. To fix this, I put a 2lb dive weight in the bottom then put the tablets in. Floats upright all the time now, but I have to check on the tablets.
Maybe in cold weather I'll take the weight out and just add tablets. Summertime just have the weight since I shouldn't need tablets then. We'll see how it all works out. The shark fin is great though!

i put in the equiv of two rows of holes though punched sporadically and 2 tablets and levels are where they need to be
Ss others said, you DO need to add a rock or it just floats on the side, but once in, it swims around..it's good fun
