Q&A
1.Do I need to make some preparations before desulfating?
- Check the battery voltage. The voltage should be more than 11.5V, or the desulfator cannot enter into the working cycle.
2. How to use this battery desulfator?
- Connect the desulfator to your battery (leave it with battery charged or not), then it displays battery voltage and automatically selects 12, 24, 36 or 48 volts.
3.What is the button used for?
- When the desulfator shows Cxx, you may select the voltage type by yourself with it.
- When the desulfator works, you may press the button to stop.
4. What are the targeted battery types and situations?
- Storage battery, winter maintance
- 3 years old battery or younger
- 12V 24V 36V 48V battery bank
5. Can it be used in lithium batteries?
No. It only can be used in lead acid batteries. Also, it will not work for damaged or dead battery.
6. How can I feel the improvement?
You can record the discharging time of your battery before and after you desulfate the battery.
Working Cycle:
1.After you finish the battery charging process, connect the battery to the battery desulfator.
2.Firstly,the battery desulfator will show the battery voltage.
3.Then it automatically selects 12,24,36 or 48 volts.C12 means 12V battery bank,C24 means 24V battery bank,C36 means 36V battery bank,C48 means 48V battery bank.
4.Red light will flash in cycle when it desulfate the battery.

It's important that you set the right expectations. This is not a particularly powerful desulfator, and will take time, like a week or more. This isn't going to save you if your car battery goes dead and you need to fix it overnight. I have half a dozen or so 12v UPS batteries that I pulled from the dumpster. I topped them up with distilled water, but some of them were still very damaged. I've left them desulfating in parallel for a week, and I've seen some improvement in voltage and capacity. Probably double or more of what it was, though that's not saying much at all. It wouldn't run the desulfator for more than 12 hours on a charge across all the batteries, but now I can walk away for over 24 hours and it'll still be above 12 volts (2 of the batteries are in reasonably good shape, and are propping up the others). At some point I should be able to put them back into service, but it could be another week for the healthiest of them.
Note that this desulfator shuts off at 11 volts to prevent damage to the battery, so if your battery is so damaged that you can't reach the necessary voltage, you'll need to wire a healthy battery in parallel to supply the power and keep the voltage up. I'd also recommend topping up the cells with more distilled water from time to time, since the high voltage pulses will evaporate some of the water. That's the balance to be found with lead-acid batteries; too low and you get sulfation, too high and the electricity splits the water into hydrogen and oxygen, and you lose water in the cells.
