From the manufacturer
Overview:
There are many different types of ramps. The most common designs are bi-fold, tri-fold and free-standing. Ramps can also have different surface materials such as grip tape (with or without reflective markings) or supertraX.
Why choose a free-standing ramp?
Free-standing ramps do not need to be attached to a vehicle and are an excellent choice for large dogs as they can support extra weight without excess wobbling or bending.
Why choose a supertraX ramp?
supertraX is being utilized in the pet industry as a removable mat that can be used on ramps and stairs where traction is a concern. One of the most important features of supertraX is that it allows for “pressure activated gripping” which means the more pressure the pet puts on the mat the stronger the grip achieved.
Why choose a reflective ramp?
Reflective ramps provide extra safety when loading and unloading your pet. The high contrast markings also aid in guiding your pet up and down the ramp.

Product Description
The Pet Gear Reflective Tri-Fold Pet Ramp Extra Wide helps your dog maintain confidence when gaining access into your vehicle or other hard to reach places. The ramp’s surface features highly visible, reflective material that aids in guiding your pet up and down the extra wide ramp. The tread is skid-resistant, even when wet, keeping your pet steady. Side reflectors maximize safety by increasing the ramp’s visibility when in use. Rubber grippers on the bottom of the ramp help it maintain a stable position. The folding design reduces storage space at home or on the go and the carry handle facilitates easy transportation.

IT HAS REALLY BEEN A LIFE SAVER. HE IS TOO BIG FOR ME TO PICK UP AND HE CANNOT CLIMB IN AND OUT OF THE TRUCK ANYMORE. IT IS VERY STURDY. HE IS A BIG DOG. HE WEIGHS 115 LBS AND IT SUPPORTED HIS WEIGHT WITH NO PROBLEM. HE DIDNT SLIDE ON IT AND IT WAS PLENTY WIDE ENOUGH FOR HIM. WE HAVE A 4 DOOR TRUCK AND IT WORKS FOR SIDE LOADING AS WELL AS REAR LOADING AS PICTURED I PROBLY WOULDNT USE TO LOAD IN THE BED OF A PICK UP TRUCK UNLESS YOU PUT THE GROUND END ON HIGHER GROUND. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Top reviews from other countries
Easy to set up and take down, and the tri-fold means it takes a lot less space in the truck when it is folded.
Hindsight is marvelous... train them from a young age to use a ramp.
