Customers like the quality of the product. They mention it works well, provides repeatable accurate results, and is easy to use. The meter is a good backup to the controller panel read out, and it's reliable. It's also great for verifying salinity levels and water temperature in pool. The temperature measurement is also relatively fast, and having both measurements together is a win-win.

I purchased this thing because I was getting wildly inaccurate readings out of my other TDS meter, even when simply trying to get a TDS reading from my pool. There was an error on the controller for my pool and the salt readings were all over the place, even after I cleaned it. The readings eventually stabilized on the controller to 3,800ppm but my TDS meter was saying 2,700. I took a sample of my pool water down to the pool store had it it professionally analyzed and their computer said the salt level was 3,782ppm. The next day, the salt meter arrived and I compared it to the reading I was getting from my TDS meter and they both read the same (Roughly 2,700ppm). I then calibrated the new meter with the 3,000ppm calibration solution and tried again - 3,770ppm. A difference of 12ppm as compared to the pool store's professional analyzer. I'd say that's pretty good.
