From the manufacturer

Is this for me?

We designed Dr. Scholl’s Pain Relief Orthotics for Heel Pain specifically for people who suffer from heel pain, including pain from plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. They have Shock Guard Technology to treat pain at the source, so you can feel immediate and all-day relief.

Immediate, All-Day Relief from Heel Pain

- Shock Guard Technology to protect heel from impact.

- Provides immediate and all-day relief.

- Treats pain at the source.

- Designed for casual shoes, sneakers, work boots/shoes.

How to use

Step 1: Insert left orthotic into left shoe, logo side down.

Step 2: Repeat for the right orthotic.

Replace insoles every six (6) months or at the first signs of wear.

How it works

Heel pain can occur for many reasons, whether it's heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, or general overuse. All of these causes can be aggravated by the impact of each step.

Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heel provide a combination of cushioning and arch support to protect from the jarring shock of each step.

Heel spurs

Visible via X-ray and protruding as much as half an inch, heel spurs themselves aren’t often very painful, but they can cause heel pain and can be present with other conditions such as plantar fasciitis, and Achilles Tendinitis.*

Plantar fasciitis

Plantar Fasciitis is the pain and inflammation at the point where the thin band of tissues called the plantar fascia connects your heel bone to your toes. This tissue helps support the bones of your arch and absorbs some of the strain you put on your feet, whether from running or other kinds of vigorous exercise. Pain that is commonly intense when getting out of bed is a common sign of Plantar Fasciitis, a particular type of heel pain.*

I Dislike These, but Love Dr. Scholl's

I Dislike These, but Love Dr. Scholl's
I've used multiple Dr. Scholl's sole inserts before and loved them, however, I hated these. Because they are not a full insert and the end of it is extremely thin, I can feel the rubber almost sticking to my sock or rolling up as I walked. The thinnest of the rubber also caused it to wear and tear, looking worn after a single use (see picture). Regardless, my heel pain did subside a bit while using these, so they are helpful. I would certainly prefer a full insert in the future, though.
