This tripod turned out to be excellent for my purpose. Each segment of its telescoping legs can be adjusted in infinite increments, independently of each other. You release and tighten the telescoping mechanism by rotating/twisting the leg, which is why you don’t see any clamps in the photos. The three legs can be spread out equally, which is what you normally do on a level surface if you need a level position for the camera—but each leg can also be positioned at its own angle, giving you infinite flexibility in the camcorder angled position. By releasing a catch at the top of each leg you can even spread them all the way out to almost a horizontal position, again each leg independently of the other legs.
The center column, which is removable and can probably be replaced with a longer one (though I didi not explore this) can be moved up and down, giving you an additional range of height values of about 3 inches (more if you find a way to replace it with a longer column), again in infinitely small increments.
The tripod is made with excellent precision, all parts are metal, it is light-weight and elegant.
As an unexpected but very fine feature you see only in top-of-the-line tripods, the top platform has notches for noting the position of the camera as you rotate it 360 degrees in the horizontal plane. So if you have found, for example, a few precise positions that you want to return to quickly, you can note down the number of degrees, from 0 to 360, and position the camera correctly without looking in the viewfinder.
All around this is a great piece of equipment. I am not associated with the manufacturer or vendor and was not asked to write this review. But since I went through several other table stands and tripods for my purpose that were all lacking in some ways, I thought I should share my excitement for this one.
The adjustments all work well, smooth and positive. The ball head locks down tightly. The legs extend and retract well with the assistance of applying a bit of twisting force while extending and retracting. You’ll catch on quickly, it works well. I had not seen that type of friction lock before but it works well.
It comes with a nylon bag, an arca style mounting plate, and a hex wrench for adjusting leg tension. It even has decent little instructions that converys to me that the manufacturer has some regard for this product. I may buy some for photographer friends as gifts.
The mechanism for setting the leg angle is 100% manual -- you have to pull it out to free and push it in to lock the leg; there is no spring assist at all. When I'm bent over a subject, I need a little more efficient way to operate the tripod. Between the two issues I decided to return it and spend more for what I need in a mini tripod.
I will say also that I miss the option of using spiked feet -- in my opinion it's made to be used mainly indoors, with outdoor use as a secondary purpose.
Even though I returned it, I gave it 4 stars because it's a really good little unit for its price. It's compact size makes it a candidate for carrying if the subject doesn't require frequent repositioning of the unit or spikes for traction. The head appears to be well made, but I switched it out for a low-profile head, so I can't really comment more about that.
If you're mainly going to use this as a stationary base for a camera indoors and for occasional use outdoors where its size and price are the principal concerns, then this is your tripod. It just didn't meet all my needs.

There is little to be critical about. The number of screws to loosed and tighten up when setting up/taking down the camera (three in total, excluding the legs when extended) can be somewhat confusing, but this is certainly just a matter of getting used to. At 816 grams I wouldn't really call the tripod "lightweight", but that's the inevitable downside of stability and durability (and once folded up it is definitely compact). For people with large hands (like me), finally, the handle of screw to attach the bottom plate to the camera is bit small to grab--but unless you permanently have to put it on and take it off again this is a manageable inconvenience.
