AVID TIRE INFLATOR OVERVIEW:
Both of these cordless inflators resemble drills with similar lithium-ion batteries. The Avid has a 20 volt battery as opposed to the 12 for the Autder. Is this a real world advantage? More voltage means how much power the battery generates. Thus, the Avid is a bit more powerful and fills the tire a bit faster. Avid states that you can inflate three to four tires fully depending on tire size. For 214/60 R16, as an example, you can fully inflate three tires from flat and each tire would take about five minutes.
For just topping off a low tire, the Avid works easily and relatively fast. Its maximum pressure is 100 PSI. I increased my car’s tire pressure from 32 to 41 in about 90 seconds.
For accessories, you get a car adapter, a couple of inflation adapters, and a handy storage bag. You can buy an inexpensive second battery from Avid.
AUTDER TIRE INFLATOR OVERVIEW:
The Autder looks like my Dewalt drill but, alas, the batteries do not swap. The 2600mAh battery will last a long time. The mAh number determines how long a battery will hold a charge. This one should last a year in your trunk if not left out in extreme weather. As long as you are just topping off your tire pressure, the battery will last through many charges. If starting from a completely flat tire, the size of the tire with affect how much air you’ll get before running out. Figure on two tires if both are totally flat. In real world use, this is not a likely scenario, though. Maximum pressure is 120 PSI.
For accessories, you get a great car adapter, a generous supply of inflation adapters, and an excellent storage bag. Audter does not sell extra batteries so you are limited to one.
EASE OF USE: AVID VS. AUTDER:
Both are equally adept at quickly topping off a tire, easy to use and were within 1 PSI of my trusty gauge. I found the Autder more intuitive and convenient to work with although both are quite usable. The Autder shows both the current pressure and desired pressure at the same time. Strictly used as a gauge, it’s easy to read, too. The available battery capacity left is also easy to access in the same area as the other readouts. The Avid can be toggled between set and desired pressures. The Autder is slightly quieter.
WHICH HAS THE BEST WARRANTY AND SERVICE:
Avid’s warranty is listed on Amazon as two years. Inside the box is a warranty card. Both companies respond promptly to questions.
Here’s what Autder says about their warranty: “We promise you with one-year warranty, actually, we are not permitted to list the warranty on the listing according to amazon's rules.” That’s unusual. No warranty info is included in the box.
RECOMMONDATIONS: WHICH IS BEST?
Both air compressors are reasonably well built, similarly priced and get the job done confidently. Both have a convenient auto stop function when desired pressure is reached. At the time of this review, the Avid was about 15% less expensive. Consider this when deciding: The Avid will fill faster yet the battery won’t hold a charge as long in storage. The Autder will last a longer time in the trunk but at 12V vs. 20V for Avid, it won’t inflate quite as fast. You can buy a second battery only for the Avid.
Both inflators rate 5 stars for ease of use. For warranty, the Avid rates 5 stars for a generous two years. With no option for replacement batteries, and a stated one-year warranty they say they are not permitted to list on Amazon, Autder’s service after the sale is not as confidence-inducing.

Also, I love how when you connect it, it shows you the current tire pressure.
Also, I love you you set the desired pressure, then press the trigger and off it goes to that pressure and stops when it is reached,. It has a MEMORY so you don't have to keep setting the desired pressure.
I keep this in my trunk so if my tires are low, I can instantly fix it.
Not more paying $2.00 to some gas station not doing their job to make it free for you.
I also love the zip suitcase that came with it to store the messy cables. NICE!!

This inflator resembles a cordless drill but instead of the drill chuck on the tip it has a flexible air hose. The hose has a quick attachment lever so you can push it down over your car tire’s valve stem, flip the lever, and begin filling. No need to screw on the hose like many other inflators.
The inflator comes with a nice fabric storage case that holds the inflator itself (with 20V battery attached), the AC charger for the battery, a “fake” battery that stores a 12v plug and cable so you can power the inflator from your car if the battery has run out, and the instructions.
The battery has a button to display the charge level when not installed in the inflator and also has a USB-A port that you can use to charge things like your cell phone right from the battery.
In addition to car tires you can also use the inflator to add air to sports balls that use a pin, air mattresses or other inflatables, and bike tires. Adapters for each of these things are included and there is even a little storage area on the top of the inflator itself so you can keep the adapters with it. I hate sportsball, air mattresses, and bikes, so I just leave those adapters in the case with the instructions since I’ll never use them.
To use the unit you first charge up the battery using the included AC adapter, then snap the battery onto the bottom of the main handle. The rear of the unit has a small display with buttons to turn it on and off, change the units of measure, and to raise and lower the pressure setting. Simply press the on/off button, then press it again if you need to switch between the various measurement units (PSI, BAR, KPA, and KG/CM are available). If you connect the unit to your tire at this point it will display the current pressure of the tire. If you need to add air you press the up and down buttons until the pressure you want is shown in the display. Then squeeze the trigger once and the compressor will turn on (there’s also a little light on the bottom of the unit to give you a little illumination if it’s dark outside. It will fill the tire to the selected pressure and then automatically turn off. Very convenient. The pressure setting is retained after use so you can quickly move around your car and inflate all your tires to the same pressure without having to manually watch the display and turn off the unit when it reaches the pressure you want.
I did notice that my particular unit tends to fill the tire to be about 2 PSI higher than the display setting. So when I want to fill my tires to 30 PSI I set the unit to 28.5. It then will end up filling them to about 30.5 PSI. Removing the hose tends to release a little pressure and then I use a separate dial pressure gauge with a bleeder valve to bleed off the remaining overage until I’m right at 30.
The case is large enough that I can also toss my dial pressure gauge (not included) in to the bag and have everything I need together.
So far this inflator is working very well. I can typically add a few PSI to each tire and the battery will still show a full charge. So much so that the wall charger won’t even charge it until I run it down some more. So I suspect this would have plenty of charge to refill a flat tire if needed.
I typically carry a Viair inflator in my cars as that brand has been very reliable for me over the years. It remains to be seen if this particular unit will be reliable long-term, so for now I may carry both inflators on any longer trips, just in case. For speed and ease of use though this Avid Power model is much better than any corded inflators.

I bought Avid primarily because of the good reviews and I am so glad I did. I wasn't disappointed. It works to a T. It's simply wow. The features I like:
- lightweight and pretty handy
- auto shut off when desired pressure is achieved
- while we commonly use PSI these days, you really can't go wrong with whatever system of measure you intend to use
- ease of use
- I hope not to use the 12V car plug-in but it comes in handy when needed
- battery charging is a breeze
- accessories for use other than car is a bonus
- USB output to power other devices is a bonus
- decent bag is an extra
I just hope this product would last for years. I highly recommend this product.
