Please read this before you buy the OasisSpace Knee scooter
I bought this knee scooter for a foot surgery I had in February 2019. I am a 50ish old man that is 6’-3” tall and weighs 295 lbs. Here is my review: DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK! If you want to know more read on.The knee scooter arrived damaged from the packing. The seat cushion had a small hole on one side. I decided to keep the knee scooter because I need some way to get around and crutches were not very easy for me. After using the scooter for 1 day, I noticed the knee cushion base was bending from use. I contacted the seller and Amazon and they both told me they were sorry for my problem and that the seller will take care of my problem. Here is where everything really goes downhill. I tried multiple ways to upload pictures to show the defective cushion. Both the seller and Amazon could not see them. I tried the links both to sent me and multiple file formats to upload a picture. A few weeks pass and I had not received a replacement cushion and cushion base. Then problem #2 with the scooter happen. I had a low tire. I aired up the tire with a bike air pump and at 35 psi the tire pops off the rim. I start to let air out of the valve stem and the inner tube blows up in my hand. I promptly call Amazon and tried to find a solution to my problem. I found a replacement inner tube from a DIFFERENT SELLER and had them overnight to my house. Amazon told me they would reimburse me for the shipping cost to help with my problem with the product. I did not receive anything from Amazon. The seller contacted me and asked me to wait till that Monday and they would fix the problem. On the following Wednesday I received a new knee cushion but no cushion base or inner tubes for the tires. Still having problems with the tires I noticed a popping sound coming from the handle bars and the other take down point. I used some bike dry lube and placed it on the contact points. I also tighten up the scooter takedown points. This help a little in the stabilizing of the scooter. You would think that 4 tires would make a stable scooter. No! I have fallen off the scooter due to it not being stable. I am not doing anything crazy with the scooter. I am just trying to get from point A to point B. This scooter has a hard time with that at times. Two weeks later… I was using the knee scooter to get into my office when I heard a popping sound at the tire. I went a little further and my co-worker told me to stop and the rear tire fell off of the scooter. Yes! It fell off. The bearings in the wheel hub broke. Now I have a broken scooter again. I have to use crutches to get around now. Crutches are ok for a short distance but walking 100 yards with them is stressful. I know you might be doing the math in your head. This knee scooter could not even make it through my surgery recovery time. I am hoping I can get around with the crutches and start putting weight on my foot. Conclusion:This scooter is junk. You will waist your money. The scooter will not last long enough for your recovery and may cause other injuries to the user due to poor quality control and design. Buy from a company that has a phone number and customer service help line. OasisSpace products are a major disappointment and are not reliable or dependable for your recovery. Keep looking. At the time of this review I have been denied a refund from OasisSpace. I am not pleased. Please look at other knee scooters from another company. I hope you find this review helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable for outdoor use
Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2019
We bought this as an addition to a light weight solid wheel scooter we already have. The light weight scooter is good for indoor use but transmitted every bump to the knee when used outdoors plus made moving it on anything but a smooth surface very difficult. I decided to get this all Terrain Scooter for my wife for use outside the house.
The scooter arrived very well packed (see pictures). Came with a hand held air pump (which was a pleasant surprise). It was very easy to unfold it and put it together. The air stems on all 4 wheels are bent outward in order to make it easy to add air. The instructions say to do about 20 strokes with the air pump for the larger front wheels and 12 for the smaller rear wheels. The tires themselves say to inflate to 40 PSI on the front and 35 PSI on the rear. I found that 20 strokes only inflated the tires to 20 PSI, which in my opinion, was too low. I ended up using an electric air pump to inflate to the proper pressure. Note, that due to the small tire size and high pressure, just the act of checking tire pressure can reduce it significantly. So it is best to use an inflator with a build in tire pressure gauge.
The scooter itself is nice and comfortable in parking lots and bumpy sidewalks/walkways. It is somewhat large and weighs about 21 lbs. without the basket (which I did not bother to install). It fits with no problem in the back of an SUV (I lay it down - wheels to the front, handlebar to the rear of the car). It is a little heavy and awkward to lift and remove from the car. We do not fold it so I can't speak to that. My wife found it a little stiff to steer at first but as she is using it it is loosening up. The seat/knee support is thick and so far, comfortable. I think it is a quality product that works as advertised. Can't ask for much more.
