Customers are mixed about the air loss. Some mention that it works great, and there is no air loss from the fork or shock while removing the valve. However, others say that it loses a small amount of air when releasing the pressure valve.

55 customers mention27 positive28 negative

Customers are mixed about the pressure of the air pump. Some mention that it holds the pressure better than the $900 fluke pump, and that the low volume, high pressure stroke is key for getting mountain bike suspension set. However, others say that when they disconnect the pump hose, all the pressure would escape. The pressure release does not work, and the pressures do need to be equalized.

"...the pressure in the 3rd with my old pump and found that the pressure was too high (fat bike I had probably last filled in the Winter, so possible)...." Read more

"...I like the pressure release button (why didn't my last one have that?),..." Read more

"...one I purchased worked well with the exception of pressure loss when removing after pumping...." Read more

"...It is easy to use, easy to control the pressure, easy to read the pressure. The attached hose clamp keeps it all nice and tidy in my bike tool box." Read more

Perfect for low-pressure shocks/tires. Does NOT leak!

Perfect for low-pressure shocks/tires. Does NOT leak!
The InMotion V11 EUC used to come standard with these pumps, but when I received mine (3rd batch), they came with an inferior pump that was hard to get an accurate reading: Its gauge showed 0-300 psi, but on half the dial (9:00-3:00), so trying to pump my tire to 35 psi was nearly impossible. The Giyo shows 0-300 psi on most of the dial (7:00-4:00), so getting an accurate reading is easy! (see photos)The bleeder valve is large and provides a lot of control in releasing a lot of air, or just a bit. It's compact enough to throw into a backpack at only 10" long. The valve end locks on to shrader valve threads, and there is a lever that allows you to engage/disengage the pump so that you don't lose any air when removing the pump from the valve.Does NOT leak! Read on if you think yours is leaking...At first, I thought that my pump was leaking because I would hear air escaping every time I removed the pump from a valve. This is NOT the case! The air you hear escaping is the built up air in the pump tube, NOT your tire/shock. To test, attach your pump back to the valve and pump up enough pressure to match what you think is in your tire/shock before engaging locking the mechanism. Because there is equal pressure from the tube and inside the tire/shock, the gauge needle won't move.If you DO NOT pressurize the hose before you engage the locking mechanism, air from your tire/shock will move into the pump tube until the pressure is equalized, which means you will lose some air, and your gauge will show lower than what you originally started with. Amazon had sent me a replacement unit before I figured this out, but I will be keeping both pumps: One for home, one for my backpack. I don't mind paying for the second one when they figure out I'm not sending it back (they don't allow me to go back and say I'm keeping both).Highly recommended!
